GET LICENSED
As with everything in the insurance business, becoming an agent involves a bit of paperwork. All these steps must be completed in their entirety before we can start selling.
STEP
ONE
Schedule your state licensing exam (PSI exams or Pearson VUE)
You must schedule your in-person state exam via PSI or Pearson VUE depending on your home state - If you cannot get through online, please use the attached phone numbers to schedule
- Select organization- Government/State Licensing Agencies
- Select Jurisdiction- Resident State
- Select Account- MI Insurance (or Resident State)
- Select Classification- Either select “Life Producer” or “Life, Accident and Health Producer” depending on the pre-licensing course you have completed
- Continue and type in your zip code – this will pull up the closest testing centers to you
- Select a testing center and a date/time slot for your exam

TWO
Sign up for our "Life and Health Pre-Licensing Course" through XCEL Solutions
● We provide a discount code for your pre-licensing course. This will make it 100% FREE to you!! ($200 value) www.xcelsolutions.com
● You will want to select your home state and enroll in the “Life and Health Producer” course
● Please contact Jordan.Barnette@conquestbg.com to receive your discount code to apply at checkout
Complete pre-licensing course through XCEL Solutions:
● We expect all of our new agents that are not previously licensed to complete the pre licensing course within 12 days or less
● Please note - one of our office admins WILL be touching base with you 2-3 times a week to track your progress and keep you focused - ask them any questions you may have
● You must log a minimum of 25 “study” hours and pass the online “pre-exam” with a score of 75% or higher to officially complete the course.
● After passing your “pre-exam” check the “transcript” tab and you will find your
certificate of completion (keep a copy of this for your records)

You will need to obtain a VOIDED Check for when your license comes in, we suggest you grab that now so it does not prolong the next steps

d. the transaction number you received in the confirmation email from your state licensing application
